What is a Cash ISA?

A Cash ISA is a type of savings account where you can place your cash and pay no tax on the interest you earn. FYI, Help-to-Buy ISAs are also a type of Cash ISA. 

Side note: There is a yearly limit on the aggregated amount you deposit into all your ISAs and you are only allowed to open one Cash ISA a year. If your Cash ISA interest term has expired it's wise to transfer the balance into a new Cash ISA.
