Do I have to pay the asking price of a property or can I barter?
Once you have found your ideal home don’t be scared to make an “offer”. The asking price is just a guide and in certain areas it may be a buyers’ market with many properties overpriced. But make sure you have done your homework and know how much similar properties in the area have sold for. You can research the price of past sales here.
